Just what is an Empire dress?
An empire dress is one with a high waist usually just under the bust. In it's flimsiest and sexiest form it's referred to as a baby doll dress after the 1956 film "Baby Doll" where the lead female wore baby doll nightwear!
I've delved a little more into the origins of the empire dress and it has it's roots back in ancient greece!
